My approach
Bridging digital policy and lived reality
My consultancy approach combines community experience, research thinking, and practical delivery insight. I work with organisations to bridge the gap between digital policy and lived reality, ensuring strategies are not only well intentioned, but usable, trusted, and effective in practice.
This work is informed by my wider frameworks, including the Seven Pillars Framework for Future-Proofed Communities and the Multiplayer Online Social Formation Cycle (MOSFC), which together help explain both the conditions required for digital inclusion and the ways participation forms socially over time.
Why this matters
Inclusion is about more than provision
Digital exclusion is no longer defined solely by devices and connectivity. Increasingly, it is shaped by confidence, trust, safety, design quality, and the ability to navigate complex digital systems such as healthcare platforms, local authority services, and AI-enabled tools.
Effective digital inclusion work requires more than provision. It requires insight into how people actually experience digital systems, how behaviour is shaped, and what support structures are needed to sustain participation over time.
