About Me

I am John Adewole.

I am a strategic leader in digital inclusion, sustainability, and community innovation, dedicated to creating a world where people, regardless of background or circumstance, can thrive in a digital-first society. My work sits at the intersection of technology, policy, culture, and human experience—guided by a commitment to equity, empowerment, and long-term societal impact.

As the Founder and CEO of IFB Gaming, I lead a hybrid research, learning and innovation organisation that uses gaming, education, and emerging technologies to build confidence, skills, and opportunity for underserved communities. Through initiatives such as Empowering Futures, the Digital Skills and Literacy Programme, and the development of community Data Waypoints, I design and deliver solutions that address digital poverty, data inequality, device access, and low digital confidence across both the UK and Nigeria.

My approach blends technical expertise with emotional intelligence and a deep understanding of lived reality. I work across schools, local authorities, community groups, third-sector organisations, and innovation networks to ensure that digital transformation is accessible, ethical, inclusive and sustainable.

My practice is anchored by the 7 Pillars of Future-Proofed Digital Communities—a framework I developed to support individuals, families, and organisations in navigating digital citizenship, digital education, healthcare, commerce, governance, and safety with confidence and clarity.

I am also the creator of AIS — Adewole Intelligence Suite, a conversational AI assistant that extends my mission by providing accessible guidance on digital skills, online safety, climate-aware technology use, and inclusive innovation. AIS is designed to scale the values that drive my work: empowerment, clarity, and meaningful access for all.

Known for bold thinking, grounded empathy, and an ability to translate complex ideas into practical action, I use storytelling, collaboration, and community engagement to move people from awareness to real-world change. Whether mentoring emerging leaders, partnering with institutions, or designing future-focused interventions, my objective remains constant:

Digital inclusion must be designed, defended and delivered — intentionally, sustainably, and with humanity at the centre.
